A petition case holds your whole professional life, so here is exactly what we hold, where, and how to make us delete it. The short version: it is encrypted, it is scoped to your account alone, and it is never sold.

Your email address, used to sign you in and to tell you when a review is ready. Sign-in is by emailed link or Google; we never see or store a password.
What you put into a case: the documents you upload, your interview answers, and the claims they generate. From these we produce assessments, checklists and drafts, which are stored with the case.
Payment details go to Stripe, our payment processor. Card numbers never touch our servers; we store only Stripe's reference for the purchase.
Everything is stored with Supabase — the database and a private file bucket — encrypted in transit and at rest.
Every row in every table is scoped to your account by row-level security, enforced by the database itself rather than by application code. Your files are served only through signed links that expire within minutes.
Vercel hosts the application. Supabase stores the data. Anthropic's Claude reads your record to write the assessments and drafts — under the API terms we use, that data is not used to train models. Resend delivers the notification email, which says only that a review is ready, never what it found.
When you run a lookup or a web search from your checklist, the query you typed is sent to the registry or search provider that answers it — DOAJ, Crossref, SEC EDGAR, OpenAlex, the Internet Archive, or Brave Search. Only the query travels; your documents never do.
We do not sell or share your data, run ads, or load third-party analytics or tracking scripts. Nobody's records are used to assess anybody else's case.
You can delete any document, or a whole case, from inside the app. Deletion is immediate and removes both the database rows and the stored files — it is not a soft delete.
To close your account and remove everything, write to hello@petitionready.co from the email you signed up with and we will delete it.
